Background
Jon has over the past decade headed two of the UK and Ireland largest credit insurers, most recently Managing Director of Coface. Here he embarked on an aggressive growth strategy broadening Coface’s offer from credit insurance to include finance and information. Previously, he was a member of the Managing Board of Atradius Credit Insurance NV and headed up the UK and Ireland entities. He was chairman of the Association of British Insurers Trade Credit Committee from 2004 – 2007.
Jon previously was Head of Business Development for Courtaulds Fibres. His career in Courtaulds included extensive operational experience as Managing Director of both small and medium sized materials businesses, including two separate joint ventures with Japanese materials companies.

In his early career he worked as a civil engineer on overseas projects in the Middle East and the Caribbean for Taylor Woodrow International. He is a Harvard MBA and an Engineering Graduate from Clare College, Cambridge.
